We are a collective of art and fashion activists radicalizing the public’s relationship with wearable objects, organic materials, and craft. In response to impending social, political, and environmental crises, our projects propose actions and solutions that pay homage to indigenous knowledge systems and commemorate revolutionary acts of care. By activating community spaces and engaging with land and material memory, Woven Riot suggests a framework that rejects existential despair, and instead grounds us in resilience, agency, and critical hope.
